Taxi Japan!

Taxis are often found lined up along side of the road waiting for customers. In Nagano the taxis literally are in line waiting for the next client as you have to grab a taxi from the head of the line first. The drivers are very good about this and will usher you to the front if necessary. This may not be true in other parts of Japan like Tokyo, but here these guys definitely play fair.
Tree Trimming Japan

If you look at my previous shot, you’ll see that this guy looks a bit older and is smoking a cigarette…on the job too. This gentelman is most likely the supervisor or leader of the group. In Japan if you are the supervisor you’re often seen with cigarette in one hand and finger pointing with the other…laugh. In any case, this guy is out working hard it seems so I give him credit for leading by example.
Birds in Formation

The birds were out in full force today and I they all seemed to be in the mood to fly around together. It was pretty cool to watch and I was happy to get this shot of them flying in formation….of some sort.
