The white lanterns were really cool. For some reason, the lighting, backgrounds, and cleanliness of the lanterns provided some fresh new shots.
Japanese Monk in Zenkoji

This image depicts a Japanese monk walking up the main path to entrance of Zenkoji Temple in Nagano City, Japan. I often see these color monks when I hang around Zenkoji. They usually show up every hour or so. This particular monk was very colorful and quite friendly in appearance.
Raw Watermelon Japan

This was a watermelon found on the side of the street. I believe a cat or something got to it because the outer edges were quite broken and raw.

Summer is here and that means a round of Strawberry Kakigori for everyone! This photo depicts a banner that advertises Kakigori in Japan. They are like Slurpies with all sorts of flavors. If you visit Japan, be sure to take a moment and have one. They are just awesome during the hot and humid summer in Japan. Enjoy!
