There was huge wooden board near a temple that was set up for visitors to write comments on for the New Year. Interestingly enough there wasn’t a pen around so I couldn’t write my own, but I did take a picture of some of the comments.

Located at Zenkoji, this is a sort of wishing well where people donate money in return for a spiritual wish. On this particular day there was quite a lot of change in the water.
