HOT Spring Anyone?

Here is a horizontal shot of a very active hotspring up in the Japanese Nagano Alps. It was pretty cools to see this and you can walk right up to the edge if you want. Of course the snow is pretty deep so you have to be quite careful. It’s a fantastic sight though.

Took this shot in passing. I saw this group of people who were lucky enough to see a few Zenkoji Buddhist monks passing by. I thought they were quite colorful.

This is a doorway to one of the many nice Ryokans located around Zenkoji Temple in Nagano Japan. I thought this had a nice, warm, golden feel to it. I like Ryokans or Japanese Inns very much in Japan.
Gateway to Zenkoji Nagano Japan

This is the newly refurbished gateway to Zenkoji, Temple in Nagano City Japan. It was completed less than a month ago for the 2008 New Year Festivities. This year Zenkoji will probably attract more people than usual as the whole area will pretty much be redone by that time.
